This is a story about two of NARA’s patients who live every day with life limiting conditions including Ehlers Danlos syndrome, epilepsy, Addisons disease, Multi System disease and Asthma to name but a few.
NARA help both these young people with equipment and have recently found out despite living 130 miles apart they are the very best of friends.

These are words from R, one half of the ‘dynamic duo’.

“I am so grateful to NARA and the work it does.
It provides me monthly with vital medial equipment that I need and unfortunately falls through the gap between my hospital and GP.
Without this I would have to pay for these things and when you have serious long term medical conditions there is so much you have to manage but with NARA’s help I can relax knowing I can get my medical equipment safely and regularly.”

“A is a close friend of mine and benefits from NARA’s equipment too! All of this means that we can go out into the world and live our lives to the full!
So despite our daily battles and medical challenges, NARA helps us to live life to the full and make the most of every day which we definitely do and for that I’m so grateful!”

The last few months have been extremely tough and still is, but we take it one day at a time.

I am a very close friend to A, my whole family is and we’ve met up quite a few times now.
