We’re only to pleased to be able to help, having had our youngest son born with severe breathing problems. He was born nine weeks premature, weighing little more than a bag of sugar. I wished you’d been around when he was born 23 years ago. He stopped breathing twice in my arms and I was terrified to take him home, when he was two months old, weighing still only four and a half pounds. He battled on for several years and then seemed to catch up with his contemporaries and overtook them too eventually reaching 6ft4, he is our ‘gentle giant’. He’s a lovely young man with a lovely nature and we count our blessings and thank god for him everyday. He has just got married, so that was another wonderful day for us all. Maybe his story will give hope to other mums.
