GREAT NEWS UPDATE: A MOTHERS STORY.

I feel very lucky. I had my daughter at 30 +2wks, my waters broke at 20+4. She weighed 2lb 9.5 oz (1.17 kg) she was critical for 10 hours but managed to fight every step of the way. She did have a rough journey, she suffers from central apnoea, we didn’t know this till she was 8 weeks old and stopped breathing at home, we had to perform CPR and get her into hospital, without the help of London ambulance service! Another story!. She stopped breathing a further 3 times in 2 weeks and also caught cold viruses which meant she has to be put on a ventilator and paralysed. She suffered a popped lung during this process, and handled everything like the fighter we knew she was.

She celebrates her 1st birthday next week and I can say without a shadow of a doubt she wouldn’t be here without the help from NARA – The Breathing Charity. I would also like to thank Bliss for the online help.
